Spring Roll and Core Ejector Chuck

The Core-Ejecting Chuck is the modern solution to core handling. It combines the proven reliability and robustness of the traditional Renova core chucks with a spring ejector to protect both operators and cores.

The narrow contact rim is designed for today’s thinner core walls, applying pressure only to the core wall without damaging the surrounding rollstock. A reduced-diameter spring plate maintains operator visibility during roll mounting.

The plate is guided by a true key system that ensures a smooth, reliable sliding action even when paper debris is packed around the chuck.

The powerful spring is calibrated to push firmly against a core up to the end of the chuck and no further. The spring is normally at rest, so there is no danger in assembly or disassembly of the chuck.
