Corrugator Chucks
Our Patent-Pending Technology
The newly developed CST Waste Reducer III™ has already received outstanding feedback. Designed to minimize waste, prevent core slippage, and leave minimal paper on the core, this mechanical core chuck resists side pressure and axial force. Its specially designed adapter ensures lateral contact with the core without damaging the paper, while expansion units achieve 100% contact immediately. The unique lip design compensates for short or shrunk cores and accommodates thin-walled cores. Built with robust parts and minimal maintenance requirements, they deliver consistently high performance.
1½”-expanding jaws provide a secure grip on all core types, even worn ones. The jaws expand through rotation around a central cam, ensuring reliable operation even with dust or corrosion inside the chuck.
The core chuck casing is made out of one piece of hardened steel that tapers to a complete point, allowing operators to mount and unmount rolls without damaging the core. A tapered roller bearing at the nose protects against side pressure.
The Renova chucks are extremely low maintenance-the hardened steel construction has minimal moving parts, with no wear components requiring replacement. The chuck can be disassembled and rebuilt with a single screw, even while mounted on the rollstand.
With jaws collapsed, the chuck measures just under four inches, yet it easily handles standard rolls across the corrugated industry.
